The Story of
Ron & Suzanne are the founders of Snowie of LakewayTN. Ron is a retired career law enforcement officer, and Suzanne has had a career as a customer service agent for a major airline. Moving into the “halfway” part of their lives they were evaluating small business options, when one hot day Ron saw an eye catching Shaved Ice truck and started looking into the business. After much research, they decided their goal to have fun, bring smiles to young and old, create childhood memories, and support their community, would best be served in cooperation with Snowie Shaved Ice.
Corporately, Snowie has been in the industry for over 30 years, operated by four brothers who were all Eagle Scouts. Snowie is recognized as the leader in the industry for state of the art equipment, and continuously striving for new and better flavors.
We are a Christian family, blessed with three wonderful children, a great son-in-law, and one amazing grandson. We are more than excited for this opportunity to “Share Smiles one Snowie at a time” in the Lakeway region.
